ON THE BABY FRONT...
Our 2006 foaling season this year was completed in May with astounding success and we are very pleased with the special variety of foals we've had this year... now its time to put the 2006 breeding season aside and apply for foal nominations. Several of our babies are available for purchase, so if you see one that grabs your heart, please give us a call!
We would like to announce our 3rd Annual Baby Photo Contest. We invite all 2005 and 2006 foals to join & win a Grand Prize. So get your new baby pictures together and send them to us. Please be sure to check back often for new photos being added to the FOAL GALLERY. Contest end will be December 31, 2006.

KL SECRET SAPHIRE (a 1993 daughter of Welcome to Pariss) has found a new home in Arizona. Congratulations to Joanne D' Angelo on the new addition to her family. Joanne selected a Black Arabian Stallion with impeccable breeding and credentials for Saphire and has reported that they will be expecting a foal in the Spring of 2005. This is the kind of report we love to receive. Congratulations to both of you and we look forward to the updates and a full foal report... it's going to be a long winter! Here is her latest report: I am very happy with Sapphire. She is looking great. I am looking forward to her foal by the black stallion, De King Arabi, Champion show horse. ALADDABASK SS... the 2003 colt by our past GG Jabask son, Sterlin has moved to Wyoming. Dawn Dillie is such a fabulous lady to keep us updated, and here's her latest report:he is still that pretty black/bay color but is fading to gray more and more now that he is working on his just before winter coat. We are working on learning how to be ponied from another horse and that is going fairly well, my older horses are kind of crabby with him and he tends to lag behind so that is giving my arm a workout. I put a little pony saddle on him the other day in the round corral and he was fine until I cinched him up and wow can he buck. I am going to continue to work on that a little bit every month hopefully he gets better about it, I think he will since he is great with all the other stuff. {Magnum 44 [Magnum Psyche] x RD Shahara Bey by Bey Shah}
Our sincere congratulations to Gary Hartlen of North East Arabains on his acquisition of NBW Bey Shadow. These two have an awesome future planned and boy does Gary know fine horses - - Well, he just purchased this special young stallion, NBW Bey Shadow and has already started planning his 2005 breeding season with select mares to add to their breeding program. Gary has since announced that he will be standing NBW Bey Shadow in the spring of 2005 at an introductory fee of $1,000 to select mares. Lunenburg, Vermont.

CONGRATULATIONS to the new owners of both Tsultani Sahar and Princess Yasmeen! Val and Craig Sillivan of Colorado are Yasmeen and Tsultani's new family. Client Cynthia Lawyer sold the two as a package to Val on Christmas Eve of 2003. Not only an exciting Christmas, but a very heart warming event to us all. As an incentive for the acquisition of Princess Yasmeen at age 22 and for Val's patience in attempting to get her new mare in foal, Val holds (1) breeding to HW Satin Prince for 2007 and is offering this at a considerably reduced price. Setting Sun Arabians will not have any 2007 foals due, however we will be offering a select few or our mares for annual breeding lease for 2008 foals.
